We're Having Trouble Reading This. Make Sure It's a Blu-ray or Dvd

Y'all can troubleshoot disc related problems here.

The mistake code implies that the formatting of the disc was non recognized.

I would suggest installing the Blu-Ray app for Xbox 1 if you haven't already, and ensure the disc itself has no scratches and is in a decent condition.

Xbox One Ten accept a notorious trouble with the deejay drive (I had mine break four times).  If I were yous I would contact the retailer y'all bought information technology from to endeavor to supplant it, if they are unwilling to do that then contact Microsoft to start the repair process.

Hullo!

You may demand to reinstall the Blu-Ray app, or clean the Persistent Storage (Settings-> Devices-> Blu-Ray-> Persistent Storage-> Clear)

Even with a brand new xbox ane?

I'yard really disappointed with this experience, beginning gaming console and been nothing just troubles till at present :(

I tried that. Its a brand new xbox that has never been able to play any dvd or game disc, and then I doubtfulness persistent storage was an event ever.

Reinstalled blu ray app but aforementioned affair

I'm returning the console in example someone in future wants a resolution of the aforementioned problem.

Disappointed because I was actually looking forwards to it.

Might just buy a new ane depending on how things are out in the earth and on x's release date.
